SkyCard 3.3

This document outlines the privacy and usage policies associated with Skycard, a platform designed to facilitate communication, social interaction, and content sharing among users and businesses. The platform aims to foster mutually beneficial relationships through innovative features such as targeted offers and referral incentives.

One core feature allows users subscribing to the GOLD PACKAGE to broadcast offers to up to 1,000 contacts. If all contacts have the app installed, they can utilize the shared offer at no cost by forwarding it to their own contacts, effectively enabling exponential outreach—potentially reaching 100,000 people through a chain of sharing. This functionality underscores the value for businesses seeking extensive customer engagement.

Regarding offers, businesses on Skycard can send promotional deals that are transferable once per user. Recipients may choose to redeem these offers personally or share them further with their friends. Benefits accrued from shared offers are contingent upon the original recipient physically visiting the shop and using the offer. Specifically, referral benefits are awarded only when the original business share is succeeded by user-to-user sharing without additional intermediaries; for example, benefits are earned if user1 shares with user2, who then redeems the offer, but not if user2 shares with user3.

This privacy policy applies across all Skycard services including websites, mobile applications, and events. Users may be asked to provide sensitive information such as credit card details for transaction purposes, managed via in-app purchases with auto-renewal options. Users retain control to downgrade or manage subscriptions via their account settings.

Information collection includes contact data—such as names and phone numbers imported from devices—and media uploaded via camera functionalities, including photos and videos used during account setup or QR code scanning. Data is stored securely in our database solely to optimize service delivery.

Users can purchase auto-renewing monthly subscriptions through in-app transactions. These subscriptions are billed through Apple’s payment system and will renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to renewal. Cancellation contingent upon active subscription status is possible through device account settings. By permitting access to device contacts, users can invite friends or network contacts to join Skycard. Contact information transmitted for this purpose remains on our servers only long enough to process invitations.
